If you find yourself opening your social media apps more than you would like, you might be subconsciously going to your account for affirmation.
When you feel down, stressed, or upset where do you run to?
While I would like to say that I run to prayer or open my Bible. I found myself recently grabbing my phone, checking my social media for likes, views, and new follows.
Like any habit, it starts small. You might not notice it until it’s been engraved in the grooves of your mind. It might be social media, pleasing people, sex, or anything else that seems to make you feel better.
Whatever it is that you’re running to or picking up for affirmation, is it what you want to keep running to?
